NATHALIE FONTANET
State Councillor of the Republic and Canton of Geneva; Representative, GESDA Co-Founders, Switzerland
Nathalie Fontanet joined the liberal party in 2003. The same year, she became municipal councilor in the city of Geneva. She was then a member of the Geneva Grand Council in 2007, then elected in 2009 and re-elected in 2013.
In June 2017, she was nominated for the first time for the Geneva Council of State. She was elected in the second round, on May 6, 2018, succeeding François Longchamp and becoming the 7th Geneva State Councilor in history.
She is responsible for the finance and human resources department.
