Program Lead, Public Portal to Anticipation

Niniane Paeffgen is Programme Lead for the Geneva Public Portal to Anticipation and GESDA’s Citizens’ Forum, where she works at the intersection of science, diplomacy, and society. She also serves on the board of the foreign policy think tank foraus and takes part in election observation missions for the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs. Previously, she co-founded the philanthropy consultancy Office for Audacity and was Managing Director of the Swiss Digital Initiative, leading the creation of the first label for digital responsibility. Her earlier experience includes roles at digitalswitzerland, the UN Security Council Affairs Division in New York, and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris. She studied International Affairs and Governance at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and SciencesPo Paris, completing her master’s thesis at the American University of Beirut (AUB).
